MY EXPERIENCE

Dr. Tara Reed, Ph.D., affectionately known as the Motivator, Communicator, Educator, is an accomplished professor, entrepreneur, and highly sought after dynamic leader and speaker with expertise in communication, education, business, philanthropy and nonprofit organization. Dr. Reed’s ability to come across with a common sense approach, honesty and compassion, will inspire and reinvigorate you to move to the next level!

 

Dr. Reed is the Founder and CEO of Next Level Consulting, established in 1999 as a marketing and public relations consulting firm, where she continues to grow her brand by incorporating professional coaching, public speaking engagements, and educational consulting. Dr. Reed holds certifications as a Certified Master Life Coach and Certified Master Mindset Life Coach. Dr. Reed is also a Tenured Full Professor of Speech Communication in Fort Worth, TX where she currently resides. Dr. Reed’s next project is based on the motivational tool described as “Power of One”. One P.E.A.R.L. Movement was founded by Dr. Reed to ignite a movement of normalizing self-care and mental well-being for all people through open conversations, safe spaces, resources and advocacy. One P.E.A.R.L. Movement envisions a world that actively promotes and embraces conversations on the fundamental importance of self-care, self-love, and self-empowerment within our communities. Our vision is a world where individuals recognize their inherent worth, prioritize their well-being, and inspire one another to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Through open dialogue and collective action, we strive to create a global culture that nurtures and uplifts the human spirit, fostering a society where self-care is not a luxury but a fundamental right, and self-love and self-empowerment are the cornerstones of personal and societal growth. The motto of One P.E.A.R.L. Movement is "Keep Moving! Keep Living One Purposed. Empowered. Authentic. Radiant. Life."

 

Dr. Reed earned a Ph.D. in Education, Master’s Degree in Communication Studies and Bachelor’s Degree in Business. In addition, Dr. Reed is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, holds membership within multiple associations, honor societies, and is a life member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Dr. Reed has been recognized by her community and national organizations for the work that she has done, which exemplifies her commitment to the members in which she serves.
